    American Panda makes astoundingly good ice cream (unfortunately I haven't yet had the opportunity to try their other offerings). I absolutely recommend them - especially if you're in the mood for ice cream.

    Also, don't forget to ask about their Durian ice cream...

    I've had a lot of ice cream in my life, but American Panda's homemade ice cream blows it all out of the water. The owner let us try every flavor she had available, and my only regret is that I don't have a stomach big enough to have ordered a scoop of all of them! In the end, we decided on an order of the pineapple sorbet and matcha mint ice cream, and our taste buds had never been happier. If you're a fan of mint ice cream, you'd be a fool to pass up the chance to try American Panda's matcha mint. We also got a cup of the watermelon juice, and it was incredibly refreshing. I could see the owner dropping these huge chunks of watermelon into the juicer in the back, and you could taste the freshness and quality. I will definitely be back here the next time I'm in Portland to try everything else on the menu; if it's even half as good as the ice cream we got today, American Panda will have earned another 5-Star review from me. It was just that good!

    Deliciously creamy! This ice cream is decadent. Stopped by with my husband and daughter while we were in the area and were highly satisfied with our choice. We ordered a scoop of vanilla, chocolate and cantaloupe, with one waffle. Each flavor hit the spot, especially the cantaloupe! Our daughter couldn't get enough. The waffle was thick and sweetly rich. Truly a dessert waffle! Highly impressed by their variety of other items on the menu. We will be stopping back to try the cheesecake again soon. Also couldn't get over the cute raccoon mascot. Service was friendly and quick. Well done, American Panda!

    American Panda has the best ice cream I've had in Portland.  Service comes with a smile.  Now I hope to get back for breakfast!
